Federal immigration law requires employers to physically inspect original identity and employment authorization documents when onboarding remote team members. Wind Horse Notary LLC acts as your compliant, designated authorized representative across Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, York, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties: meeting your new hire on site to inspect documents and complete Section 2 of Form I-9 accurately and on time.
Our $50 service fee includes the first 10 miles of travel and covers full in-person document verification. Because I-9 verification is an authorized representative service rather than a formal notarization, no state notary fees apply.
Completed forms and ID scans are transmitted digitally to your hiring team. Should your organization require hard-copy mailing, please provide a prepaid shipping label; otherwise, carrier shipping charges will be invoiced and collected prior to dispatch.

Are you really available 24/7?
Yes, we offer 24/7 mobile notary services by appointment, subject to availability. Standard business hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and we frequently accommodate urgent, after-hours requests. Outside standard hours, an evening surcharge applies from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM (+$50) and an overnight surcharge from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM (+$150).
How are travel fees calculated?
Travel fees begin at $30 and include up to 10 miles. Any distance beyond the initial 10 miles is billed at $15 per additional 5 miles. When you enter your location into our quote calculator, your exact travel fee is computed automatically, so you always know the final cost upfront before you book.
What does the employee need to bring to an I-9 appointment?
Original, unexpired identification of their own choosing from the official USCIS Lists of Acceptable Documents, which are printed on the Form I-9 itself. We deliberately do not publish our own version of that list, because the choice belongs to the employee and neither an employer nor their representative may steer it. If you are not sure what applies to your situation, call or text us before the appointment and we will walk through it with you. We examine the originals in person, so photocopies and phone pictures will not do, and the first 10 minutes on site are part of the service.
